Reactivation
Re-contacts dormant customers and overdue accounts.
Your customer list is full of people who already know you. The boiler that's due its annual service, the patient who never booked a check-up, the member who stopped coming in the spring. Reactivation contacts them on a schedule, in your name, with a reason to come back.
It works from customers you already have, so there's no new audience to find and no ad spend involved.
The problem
Past customers go quiet by default.
Nobody decides to stop using a business they were happy with. They just don't think of you when the need comes round again, and by then someone else is in front of them.
A well-timed message puts you back in front of them first. Sending those by hand, to the right people at the right time, is the job that never makes it to the top of the list.
How it works
From an old list to booked work.
- 01
Start from your customer list
An export from your job, booking or accounting software. We tidy it and take out anyone who has opted out.
- 02
Group by reason to get in touch
Service due, check-up overdue, membership lapsed, nothing booked in a year. Each group gets its own message, because each has a different reason to return.
- 03
Send in your name, paced
Messages go from your business email in small batches, not one blast, so replies can be handled as they come in.
- 04
Respect every reply and opt-out
Anyone who replies is taken out of the sequence and passed to you. Anyone who opts out isn't contacted again by any sequence.
What it needs
An export is the quick start.
Working from an exported list is quick to set up and uses sending machinery that's already built. Reading your software live needs a check that its API allows it, so that part is scoped first.
A customer export
Names, contact details and the date of each customer's last job or visit. That date is what makes the timing work.
The right to contact them
Whether you can email a past customer depends on how you collected their details and whether they were given a chance to opt out. We go through that with you before anything is sent.
Overdue invoices, too
The same approach can send polite reminders on unpaid invoices from an export of your accounts, stopping when the customer replies or you mark it paid.

FAQ
Reactivation, answered straight.
Reactivation
Am I allowed to email old customers?
Often, but it depends on how you got their details. UK rules generally let you email existing customers about similar services if they were given a clear chance to opt out when you collected their details, and in every message since. We check your situation with you before anything goes out.
How is this different from sending a newsletter?
A newsletter sends the same thing to everyone. Reactivation sends a specific message to a specific group for a specific reason, and stops for each person as soon as they respond.
Can it read our software directly instead of using an export?
If the software has an API that works, yes. We test it before promising anything, because a documented API doesn't always behave as documented.
Can we send these by text?
Email is the starting point. Text messages need an SMS provider connecting, which we scope separately.
