Speed-to-lead

Form fills get an automated reply within a minute.

Someone fills in the form on your website. Within a minute they get a reply from your business confirming what they asked about and what happens next, and the enquiry lands with whoever should deal with it.

It's the difference between an enquiry that waits in an inbox until the evening and one that already feels looked after.

The problem

Enquiries tend to go to whoever answers first.

People rarely fill in just one form. They contact two or three businesses, and the first to respond usually sets the terms of the conversation.

A form that drops into a shared inbox and waits for someone to notice it is competing with businesses that replied straight away. Speed-to-lead makes sure yours is never the one that took all afternoon.

How it works

From form to first reply.

  • 01

    The form is sent

On your website, a landing page, or a form a lead source passes on. The enquiry is picked up when it's submitted, not when someone next checks email.

  • 02

    They get a reply

An email in your name that confirms the details, says when a person will be in touch and, where it fits, offers a link to book a call.

  • 03

It goes to the right person

Simple routing rules send it where it belongs, by service, area or urgency, so an urgent job doesn't queue behind a general question.

  • 04

    Nothing ages out

If nobody has picked it up after a set time, it's flagged again. An enquiry can't sit unanswered without someone being told.

What we need

One of the quicker modules to set up.

The form is usually already on your site, so the build is short. Most of the effort goes into getting the wording and the routing right for how your business actually handles enquiries.

  • Access to your forms

Whether the site is one we built or one you already have, we connect to wherever form submissions land.

  • Who handles what

A plain list of which enquiries go to whom, and how quickly each kind needs a person to follow up.

  • Your sign-off on the reply

The reply goes out in your name, so you approve the exact wording before it's switched on.

FAQ

Speed-to-lead, answered straight.

Speed-to-lead

  • Doesn't an automatic reply feel impersonal?

Not if it's useful. A reply that confirms the details and says when a person will be in touch reads as organised. What puts people off is silence, or a reply that obviously wasn't written for what they asked.

  • Will it work with the form on my existing website?

Usually, yes. Most form tools can pass submissions on to another system. If yours can't, we'll tell you and suggest the smallest change that fixes it.

  • Can new enquiries go into our CRM too?

If your CRM has a documented API that works when we test it, yes, so nobody has to copy details across by hand. If it doesn't, you'll know before you commit to anything.

  • How is this different from missed-call text-back?

Speed-to-lead handles written enquiries, such as forms and emails. Missed-call text-back handles phone calls that go unanswered. They're separate modules with the same aim, and plenty of businesses need both.
