Reminders & no-show recovery
Cuts no-shows, rebooks cancellations.
Customers get a reminder before their appointment, with a simple way to confirm or rearrange. If someone cancels late or doesn't turn up, they get a message inviting them to book again, instead of the slot and the customer both being lost.
It's for appointment-led businesses: clinics and practices, salons, studios, and anyone else whose diary is the business.
The problem
An empty slot can cost you twice.
A no-show loses the appointment. It can also lose the customer, because people who miss a booking often feel awkward about making another and quietly don't.
A reminder deals with the forgetting. A friendly, no-blame message afterwards deals with the awkwardness, and gives them an easy way back into the diary.
How it works
Before the appointment, and after a miss.
- 01
A reminder goes out
Timed to suit how far ahead people book with you, with the date, time, place and anything they need to bring.
- 02
Confirm or rearrange
Where your booking system allows it, a clear way to confirm or ask to move, so cancellations arrive early enough to fill the slot.
- 03
A rebooking message after a miss
Someone who doesn't arrive, or cancels late, gets a short message with a way to book again.
- 04
Freed slots get noticed
Cancellations are flagged to whoever runs the diary, so a gap can be offered to someone waiting rather than going unused.
Where this stands
It starts with your booking system.
Everything here depends on reading your diary. Some booking and practice-management systems make that easy; others are closed to outside tools. So this module starts with a discovery step: we check what your system allows and tell you what's possible before quoting a build.
Your booking or practice software
Dentally, Cliniko, Fresha, Phorest or whatever runs your diary. What matters is whether it lets another system read appointments.
What it already does
Many booking tools include basic reminders. If yours covers what you need, we'll tell you to keep using it. We build where it falls short, such as winning back a missed appointment.
How customers are contacted
Email works with most setups. Text reminders need an SMS provider set up in your business's name, which is part of the scoping.

FAQ
Reminders & no-show recovery, answered straight.
Reminders & no-shows
Our booking software already sends reminders. Do we need this?
You might not. If the built-in reminders do the job, keep them. The gap is usually what happens after a missed or cancelled appointment, which built-in tools often leave to you.
Will it work with our practice-management system?
It depends on the system, which is why this starts with a check rather than a quote. If your system lets an outside tool read the diary, it's generally workable. If it's closed, we'll say so.
Can it take deposits or charge no-show fees?
No. Payments and deposits belong in your booking or payments software. This module handles the messages around the appointment.
Can reminders go out by text?
Yes, once an SMS provider is connected. That's confirmed during scoping rather than assumed.
